  horrible place.
so mean owner. When she was trying to sell she was okay. But, when the time for me to sell my silver, she almost yelled at me and scolded like I am doing something wrong. She told me that she would buy my gold and silver, but she tried to rip off, and she showed her true color that she was so bossy, mean, and not honest.
I would give 0 and never recommend this place.
It was 2 days ago, but I am still in shock because of her rude attitude.
I am sure this place will go out of business soon.

  I brought in a slew of jewelry from an estate. They helped me get through it and gave me a fair price for the things that were worth money. Would recommend!

  My husband and I have been to this shop a couple of times to sell some inherited gold jewelry pieces and coins. Both times Irene was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and fair. Left feeling very satisfied about our transactions and happy that my family's old heirlooms may find a new home with someone else one day. She also has many fine pre-owned things on display for sale (jewelry as well as crystal and silver, etc). We will be back that's for sure. Trustworthy and professional, I recommend highly.

  Over the last few months, I have visited Jewelry and Coin Mart. Irene is always so helpful, honest and full of knowledge. I have sold jewelry, purchase earrings and had a ring fixed. I am a very happy customer and will continue to do business with them.

  I have been going to Jewelry & Coin Mart for many years. I have purchased and sold jewelry, had a necklace made from one of my father's rings that I inherited and I've had stones replaced in a few items. Today I went in with some old coins. Irene took the time to investigate them and gave me a decent offer. She has always been fair, honest, and extremely knowledgeable! I trust Irene and would never go anywhere else! This store will not disappoint!

  I received great treatment from Irene, she's always very friendly and offers great deals when I deal with her. I have also purchased a lot of silver coins that I have started collecting cause they have a great selection.

  Gold is super high right now I checked around and they paid the highest prices. Everyone was super friendly. I couldn't be more happy

  I went back in after doing more research online and the lady at the counter went over all the questions I had. She gave me a great deal and you won't beat their prices anywhere. Extremely knowledgeable staff, don't waste your time going anywhere else they will give you the best deal for your time and money. I highly recommend stopping in.

  I have lived in the area for years, but have never stepped foot into this local gem. We sold some jewelry and coins and the process was so very friendly, fast and efficient. They are very trustworthy and give you an itemized printout detailing your transaction.They were very fair in their offers and we got a check the same day.

They also seem very knowledgeable with their appraisals and per regulations and licences , their scales are always properly calibrated. So you know they are not trying to take advantage of anyone.

There was also a lot of nice jewelry for sale, so why buy retail when they might have what you are looking for at a fraction of the price.

Definitely recommend for buying or selling!

  Was getting some work done on my car and stumbled upon this store while on a walk. The security guard, Brad was really nice and funny which gave me a good first impression of the store. One of the sales people, Irene was great at showing me affordable items and I got a very pretty charm. They also reminded me Mother's Day was coming up and I got a great charm for a reasonable price. Will definitely come back again soon for gifts as they have some very unique pieces at great prices.

  I have been going to Irene at J&CM since I moved to Schaumburg in 2007. I have bought and sold with her at her old location on Schaumburg and Roselle Rd and after she moved to her current location. She is very fair on both ends of a buying or selling transaction and would rather have you come back and tell your friends than try to squeeze every last dollar out of anyone. It's a great way to conduct yourself as a business owner and it definitely has worked for me! Great selection of new, like new, gently used and vintage jewelry, watches, diamonds, loose gems, gold and silver coins & bars, crystal, Lladro's, one of a kind items and collectables. He inventory dwarfs any retail store you can imagine with price points for any budget. I love this store. Don't buy anything until you stop here first. You'll be very happy you did.
