Michael Anthony designer 14k yellow gold pendant, modeled after the United States Marine Corps insignia – Eagle, Globe, and Anchor.
The “Eagle, Globe, and Anchor” insignia has a rich heritage that dates as far back as the early 19th century (1800s).
Traditionally, there are two distinct designs, one for officers and one for enlisted marines.
The officer design tends to be made up of at least two or more metals, whereas the enlisted design tends to be made from a single metal.
Another rather subtle distinction is the inclusion of Cuba on the enlisted design, which is absent in the officer design.
This particular pendant appears to be based on the enlisted design.
