Description

Elvis fans will love these sterling silver earrings!

The TCB logo was designed by legendary musician Elvis Presley and his then-wife Priscilla Presley in 1969, and later redesigned by Lowell Hays at Elvis’s request in 1971.

TCB with the lightning bolt meant “Taking Care of Business in a Flash”, a mantra coined by Elvis as part of his comeback tour in 1969.

At the time, very few TCB necklaces were made and distributed, and were usually reserved exclusively for Elvis’s close friends and entourage members.

The “Reduced Size” variant was designed by Lowell Hays at Elvis’s request for his then-little daughter Lisa Marie Presley.

The TCB lightning design has since been used in other jewelry such as rings and earrings, eventually being released to the general public.

This jewelry piece in particular has been created using the original Lowell Hays molds, in solid sterling silver (not plated).

Includes original retail tags, valuing the earrings at $230.

The earrings have also been seen on the official Graceland store (no affiliation) at $260.

Marked 925 and tested to be sterling silver.

Earrings are about 12mm wide x 1.5mm deep, with an ear drop height of about 43mm. Total weight is 2.6 grams.

Excellent estate condition, appears to have never been worn. Gently pre-owned.
